Cafe Nune

I love this place! They have some pretty good options & they ALWAYS hit the spot! I usually order the oatmeal & the juices. Today I had a Mediterranean themed avocado toast that blew my mind! I was beyond satisfied & the owner is kind & super helpful! I highly suggest the chocolate chia pudding as well! Check out Cafe Nune immediately! 💜

What happened? This place had great high energy efficient customer service. And the bowls were great size. My experience today was awful. The girl that took my order was sneezing, sniffing, and playing with her nose. She was full of attitude and was more focused on watching the cars go by outside than taking my order. Thankfully she put gloves on to make the bowls. My bowl barely had any fruit in it and it's noticably smaller. The atmosphere is a funeral home would be better than this. The service is on the decline and I really used to love this place.

I have no idea what has changed recently with this establishment, but the quality keeps declining. Barley any avocados and tomatoes. Let’s not talk about the presentation, the picture itself speaks for itself. Clumped up cheese? Nearly $13 for this? No thanks; I won't be returning. When submitting the purchase online, I also ordered a different dressing, for which they also charge a service fee. How could they possibly get it wrong?

I really wanted to like this place, but the juice is TOO sweet! The kale salad can definitely improve 😬. Tips: Quinoa should be cooked, and kale should be massaged and fresh for a salad. Otherwise is not easy to chew and looks unappetizing. Hummus toast was great thank you! Hello, I want a refund for the kale salad and the Juice I purchased this morning. I couldn't eat the salad. The dressing was all oil, and the whole kale was yellow once I opened it. I picked out the "crispy quinoa," but the entire salad was awful. I watered down the Juice, and it was still impossible to have. This is the first time I have encountered this. I'm sorry, I won't ever revisit your restaurant, but I need a refund because I paid $30. Great first experience even though their google maps not updated yet. I’m with a gym new to town and dropped by on recommendation from one of our members who said this was the best açaí bowl she’d ever had—and she really likes food! Note that it looks like they have moved locations from where they originally were and Google still thinks they are there. I walked around that old building and even into it (being determined to try something), and finally googled the business and found their updated address. All employees inside were super friendly and helpful and I had a tough time choosing what to order, I can tell I will have to come backup try more items. Thanks for being friendly and having such a wide menu!

i’m from edison and was introduced to this place by a friend. i drive all the way here for their smoothies and avacado toast. today, 1/28/23 at 10am, i had a weird encounter. i went right as they opened, the blonde girl in the back was nice and the girl with dark hair working the front was not. she had an attitude, and mind you i was the first customer of the day. i ordered the “IWANNA BANANA” with NO DATES& avocado toast. i paid cash, and watched as the cashier gave me my change with the gloves on ! gross! she proceeded to touch all my food without changing them. then after 10 minutes my food was ready, i was still the only one there, and there were dates in my smoothie. i ended up just driving home and eating just my toast, bc this establishment does not offer refunds and i’m not about to risk my smoothie being spat in. this place used to be my fav, always had good vibes and good staff. makes me sad bc i like to support small business, but this was a horrible experience.
